Williamstown Kentucky Home, built in early 19th century (1800’s)

The PINK team headed down to Williamstown in February of 2008, investigating reports of paranormal activity at a private residence with significant history relating to the town. There are many names and faces recorded in historical documents, of prior residents of the home, but I am not at liberty to post them here. Stories from the client included hearing foot steps, object manipulation, a door repeatedly slamming or closing, and voices. Another group also recorded an evp here previously. The home does seem to be a fairly active one, with voices recorded throughout the night, several infrared anaomlies recorded at different times on video, and Mike Palmer reported seeing a short, black silouhette of a person standing in the hallway looking at them through a glass door, near the front door of the home.

Below are some photos and some evidence files.

2nd floor bedroom, gives you an idea of the age of the home.

This was an unusual, unused room or hallway, with windows on both sides, looks like an addition made to the home at one time. There is a circuit breaker to the right of the camera on the inside wall out of sight here.

This is the small, one room slave quarters building behind the home. There used to be a few others, since torn down, as well, around the property.

There are two EVP files combined into the embedded video file below, the first one seems to be two female voices, one sounding like a very young child humming or singing briefly, followed by a more distant sounding voice of a female, possibly saying “Mommy, what’s that?” At first I figured it was Ruth’s voice, but after closer examination it doesn’t seem to be her at all and also has a monotone quality to it, resembling an EVP. I also didn’t know why she would say something like that. This was recorded just inside the front door. The 2nd part was submitted by Nik. You’ll hear Jon ask “can you tell me who’s room this was, or is?” Then a second or two later a male voice says “No I cannot.” I have amplified the voice, then used noise reduction effects to highlight and bring out the EVP.

In the video file below, you’ll hear me asking if someone is still in the room, or in the room, with me. At the time I was completely alone on the 2nd floor, this was recorded in the back bedroom, the one where the children were afraid to be in alone. After asking if anyone is there, I heard a loud knock or rap behind me from inside the room. I asked again if that was the spirit who made that noise, and you immediately hear another rap or knock.

My name is Brad, and I am a team member of Paranormal Investigators Of Northern Kentucky (P.I.N.K.). Previously I was a member of Southern Ohio Paranormal and have also conducted independent investigations. PINK has been a highly successful group in the field and have been to many locations in the last 3 years around the OH/KY/IND area.

I have investigated, formally as a small group or with an "official team," close to 20 different private homes and government buildings, as of summer 2008. Most of the investigations were homes owned by concerned or curious residents. I also live in an active home in an Ohio River historic district, across the river from downtown Cincinnati, and it has propelled my long-time interest into a formal hobby a few years ago, helping others and cataloging the evidence of stories.

P.I.N.K. is registered with the State Of Kentucky as an offical non-profit organization. This web site does not represent P.I.N.K. or it's views necessarily, and not all of the evidence here is approved by the group. This is just a personal blog/diary of mine, as I wanted an outlet to show what I've recorded and experienced.

In any case, I welcome questions and constructive criticism of anything here.
