For many years, dating back to 1900, this house was a doctor’s office/home, and the top floor (attic) was used as a nursery, according to the owner. A young girl named Rachel died in a fire here, in 1912. The owner also has framed picture of her in one bedroom downstairs, which was once a waiting room. The room adjacent to it, was the surgery room according to the owner. We slept in the waiting room, Rainie and her husband slept in Rachel’s room on the 2nd floor. Whatever spirits are in this home, and there could be quite a few, are very vocal. Female and children’s voices can be heard at night, and on one of our EVP’s below, what sounds like an infant crying. The owner has reported stories of various apparitions, and other sounds throughout the home.

The owner pointed out two grave site markings in the backyard, where apparently two small children are buried, possibly infants or babies.

I’m quite sure the home is active with paranormal spirit activity, but whether it goes beyond just orbs and EVP’s and disembodied voices, I’m not sure, but the potential is certainly there. I hate to say this, but it is a very creepy place, and it leaves you feeling a bit sad. That said I highly recommend it for a night or two, and the owner is a gracious host.
