This was an interesting investigation, in an unusual place (mult-use facility over 100 years old). We just have to keep the identity of the property confidential.
Staff and residents have reported numerous apparitions here throughout the grounds; voices, unexplained shadows or black masses, and other fairly typical paranormal reports of activity.
The stories that were described on the floor this EVP was recorded on below, revolved around a female character who used to live/work on the premises, including apparition sightings of her. To hear someone say “I can hear you, I want you to hear me,” gave me the chills when I first realized what was recorded, and not recognizing the voice, and knowing it had the “EVP-ish” quality of sounding emotionless and telegraphed, so to speak.
The first video file below is myself and Joel in the basement of the facility, and I had seen some cloudy streaks go by in my IR camera’s LCD screen just before this, and started asking for it to interact with us. You’ll hear a fairly loud “whack” to the right of where I was sitting, and Joel reacting to it immediately from across the large room, 50 or more feet away.
The EVP below was recorded on the 2nd floor in a classroom, early in the night. It was said a female who was devoted to, and worked at the institution for most of her late years, still haunts this floor. The voice captured below was recored on my video Camcorder, around 10:15-10:30pm. While the video subtitle states a “male voice” is heard, after more review, it seems more likely to be a female voice in my opinion. See/hear for yourself below. What I like so much about this one, is that she obviously is acknowledging our presence (we were asking for responses most of the night) and also “wants” to communicate with us. I will throw-in the fact that the particular apparition seen on this floor, is that of a nun, who once worked there.
