Alexandria, KY Home Investigation

Ξ December 6th, 2007 | → | ∇ Paranormal Worlds |

Conducted on 11/24/07 by P.I.N.K. team members, this private residence is experiencing unexplained phenomenon in their two story home, built in the late 1960’s.

The owners are seeking validation of their experiences by trusted, outside people, and seem to have some concerns about the activity affecting their children’s sleep.

Stories included a baby monitor being “thrown” onto the floor in the middle of the night, various toys and electronic devices turning on and off, and acting strangely. Voices were heard upstairs and what sounded like a “DJ on a radio station” at one point. No visual activity was communicated (apparitions, lights etc…,).

Previous, but relatively unknown relatives were said to have lived in the home prior to the current owners moving in. No knowledge of death or trauma occured in the home, that we know of at this point. Research on the property has not been done.

Owners believe that possibly a male spirit lives in the home, possibly a previous relative. He might’ve been a little grumpy when it came to children invading his space in the home, we were told. But were also told neighbors who knew him, said he had no problem with children and was generally a very nice, normal person.

Investigation took place on a Saturday night from approximately 9pm to 3am EST. 90% full moon (waxing) and the temperature was cold and in the 30’s or low 40’s with a wind chill, the sky was relatively clear.

Team members consisted of Mike, Joel, John, Ruth and myself (Brad).

Update: 12/18/07

Below are my combined EVP and Video files from the investigation that night.

My name is Brad, and I am a team member of Paranormal Investigators Of Northern Kentucky (P.I.N.K.). Previously I was a member of Southern Ohio Paranormal and have also conducted independent investigations. PINK has been a highly successful group in the field and have been to many locations in the last 3 years around the OH/KY/IND area.

I have investigated, formally as a small group or with an "official team," close to 20 different private homes and government buildings, as of summer 2008. Most of the investigations were homes owned by concerned or curious residents. I also live in an active home in an Ohio River historic district, across the river from downtown Cincinnati, and it has propelled my long-time interest into a formal hobby a few years ago, helping others and cataloging the evidence of stories.

P.I.N.K. is registered with the State Of Kentucky as an offical non-profit organization. This web site does not represent P.I.N.K. or it's views necessarily, and not all of the evidence here is approved by the group. This is just a personal blog/diary of mine, as I wanted an outlet to show what I've recorded and experienced.

In any case, I welcome questions and constructive criticism of anything here.
