GENEVA – The world’s largest atom smasher — which was launched with great fanfare earlier this month — has been damaged worse than previously thought and will be out of commission for at least two months, its operators said Saturday.
Experts have gone into 17-mile (27-kilometer) circular tunnel housing the Large Hadron Collider under the Swiss-French border to examine the damage that halted operations about 36 hours after its Sept. 10 startup, said James Gillies, spokesman for CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.
“It’s too early to say precisely what happened, but it seems to be a faulty electrical connection between two magnets that stopped superconducting, melted and led to a mechanical failure and let the helium out,” Gillies told The Associated Press.
If you’re interested in the “why’s and how’s” of the paranormal, then you should probably keep an eye on the CERN Particle Smasher Experiment that is now running you’ve heard so much about. While it will be several weeks before any initial conclusions will be made, and it won’t be running at full capacity until early next year, so far, so good.
The one thing to watch for is that they may actually discover other dimensions…which obviously could open up big doors for paranormal spirit study and understanding, aside from a better understanding of what the universe is made up of.
My layman’s belief has always been that there is indeed alternate dimensions, at least one of them, that we can interact with, once we know “how” to, and that matter or energy or consciousness etc.., can only be seen and heard with aide – as our physical bodies are only capable of viewing things in the visible light spectrum and our ears are only capable of picking up things in a certain audio spectrum etc…, This also involves different rules of time and space, and is so confusing and complex, that we can’t possibly understand why or how it happens without understanding what our world and universe is made up at a micro level.
